Harcourts Port Alfred and Atlas Multi Security Sandcastle Building Competition December 2019

Holiday makers and locals arrived on Kelly's Beach in Port Alfred to participate in the annual Sandcastle Building Competition hosted by Harcourts Port Alfred and Atlas Multi Security. The entrants start building at 9am and judging is at midday. All proceeds from this event are donated to the Soup Kitchen in Port Alfred. This organisation feeds many less fortunate people in Port Alfred on a daily basis. Fundraising is essential to this organisation in order to be able to keep providing for these folk, who in many cases only have this one meal a day.

Mandela Day July 2019

Armed with some cakes, our Harcourts Port Alfred team headed off to the Frailcare Centre at Settlers Park Retirement Village for tea this afternoon. Watching the caregivers and staff that work there warmed our hearts - they're angels! The kindness and love for those oldies just radiated out of their faces as they sang "Happy Birthday Madiba" and various other songs for us. How lovely would it be if every day were Madiba Day in this beautiful country of ours. Kindness goes a long way to making everyone feel more whole.
